International Credit Union Day:
On October 16, 2025, credit union members around the world will celebrate International Credit Union Day®, an annual event to commemorate the credit union movement’s impact and achievements. This year marks the 77th anniversary of this annual event, which will be celebrated under the theme of “Cooperation for a Prosperous World”. In honor of this special day, Mountain Laurel FCU invites its members and the entire community to visit your local branch for food, snacks and giveaways.
Below is a list of each branch and their activities:
St. Marys: Friday, Oct. 17th, we will be serving hotdogs and kraut and other snacks from 11am to 2pm.
Emporium: Friday, Oct. 17th, we will be serving snacks throughout the day along with giveaways and there will chances to win prizes as well.
Kane: Thursday, Oct. 16th, will be handing out 2026 calendars and cookies all day.
Bradford: Thursday, Oct. 16th, we will be handing out chips, drinks, snacks and giveaways all day.
Warren: Friday, Oct. 17th, will be serving cider and donuts throughout the day.
Port Allegany: Thursday, Oct. 16th, we will be giving out snacks and giveaways throughout the day.

Since 1948, International Credit Union Day® has been celebrated annually on the third Thursday of October. Each year, the international event affords the opportunity to remember credit unions’ proud history and promote awareness of and support for the credit union and financial cooperative difference.
