Our Mission

Mountain Laurel Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned by its members. It is our goal to provide our members with a full range of financial services at competitive rates, while maintaining financial stability. In offering these services, we will promote thrift and growth while continuing our philosophy of "Member Helping Member" in an ever changing world.

How to Join

It's easy to become a member at Mountain Laurel FCU. Because Mountain Laurel FCU is a community chartered credit union, you can become a member if you live, work, worship or attend school in one of the following counties in Pennsylvania:

  • Elk
  • Cameron
  • McKean
  • Warren

Membership is also extended to immediate family members of all current members of Mountain Laurel FCU.

Once you have confirmed your eligibility, stop in to any branch along with the following:

  • Cash or Check made payable to MLFCU for the initial $5.25 deposit required to establish your membership
  • Picture ID for each signer on the new account
  • If your current address differs from the address on your picture ID, you will need to provide proof of current address (i.e. power bill, phone bill, etc., must be original-not photocopy. We will return the original to you.)

Important Information about procedures for opening a new account: Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record all information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
